Writing articles that search engines will actually rank high is easy if you follow these simple instructions. Since you probably want your article to be seen by a lot of people, it would be wise to follow these guidelines.

1. Keyword
Pick out a simple keyword/key phrase, such as "past life regression," or "hypnosis weight," or "stop smoking hypnotherapy." Note that keywords are rarely single words. If you use the word "hypnosis" for example, there are about a million other people using that same word. Your rankings for a simple keyword like that would be low. So, pick one that is descriptive, two to three words long (preferably two), and that you can easily work into your text...exactly as written.
a.)GOOD USAGE: The keyword "hypnosis weight," can be used in a sentence like, "In my experience, hypnosis weight control is highly beneficial to those who have struggle with habitual eating."
b.)BAD USAGE: The keyword "hypnosis weight" would be improperly used as, "I've noticed my clients have lost weight easily with hypnosis." The keyword is not used exactly as written.

*So, pick a keyword (two word phrase), list it in the keyword box when submitting your article, and use it exactly as written in your text. You can only succeed when doing so.

2. Title

Your keyword should be used in your title, preferably near the beginning. Continuing to use the keyword "hypnosis weight," see the following examples.
Example Title GOOD: "At Last, Hypnosis Weight Loss is Becoming Mainstream."
Example Title BAD: "Through Hypnosis, Weight Loss is Easier for Most." The comma between hypnosis and weight means that it is not viewed by the search engines as relevant to the original keyword.

3. Text of Article

Use your keyword ONCE in the first 90 words of your text. Never more than once.

Use your keyword twice, maybe three times in the rest of your article body. If you don't use it at all (as written), your article wont rank well. If you overuse it, it will also be dropped to the bottom. Use it twice, and if need be to make your article flow freely, use it three times.

4. Description Box

Describe your article in three to four sentences. Give the reader a reason to be intrigued and continue reading. Use your keyword once in the description box exactly as written.
